When we think of the relationships that exist between living beings in nature, we often imagine cruel fi ghts
between animals where the weakest are devoured by the strongest. Yet, on closer inspection, collaboration is present everywhere! Plants share their nutrients among their group, fish cooperate with one another, and different species of animals help and protect each other. What if solidarity was natural?
