David Wapner is an award-winning poet, writer, and musician, best known for his innovative works for children and young readers. Since his literary debut in the late 1980s, he has published numerous books celebrated for their blend of poetry, humor, and playful nonsense. Since 1998, Wapner has lived in Israel, where he continues to write and create.

Mariana Chiesa is an illustrator, printmaker, painter, and comics artist. A former student of the legendary Alberto Breccia, she has collaborated with publishers across Europe and Latin America and exhibited her work internationally. Her art explores themes of childhood, memory, identity, desire, and displacement. After living in Barcelona for over a decade, she settled in Italy, where she currently lives and works.
