During a parent’s birthday party in the countryside, Elisa disappears. It is Lorenzo who notices it and alarms the other kids. Elisa often wanders off, chaos annoys her, she prefers solitude. So an expedition sets out to find her: Lorenzo opens the way with his torch, followed by the other three friends.

The search involves an encounter with a boarlet, the fear, the dread of having lost their friend, the feeling of freedom, the noises and sounds of nature which at night is even more mysterious… And then the sound of footsteps, the appearance of a giant, the panic, the escape. The “giant” leads them to a house in the woods, would it be that of a witch who imprisoned Elisa? Fortunately not! The four adventurers are welcomed, warmed up and finally, brought home. But along the way, in the pitch dark, under the rain, still no trace of Elisa. “I climbed over, went for a walk in the woods, came back and didn’t find you anymore”: this is what Elisa says to them when they reunite at home.
