Brum likes things to be the way they always have.
At the same time, he can’t help glancing at what the others are doing as he walks by the park.
Two are playing on the seesaw, and two others are laughing about something. Will Brum ever have a friend of his own? Perhaps one day, a day that won’t be quite like all his usual days?

Julia Hansson is an illustrator who studied at Konstfack University of Arts, Crafts and Design in Stockholm and at Tama Art University in Tokyo. Her debut picture book, Billie and Bean at the Beach (2020), was nominated for the August Prize.
