Pumpkin knows that. Because on a cold winter’s day, the bird sits there on the windowsill, a tufted Nuthatch with a determined look and a black mask over her eyes. Like a little bandit.

Soon she comes flying every day when Pumpkin comes home from school, they become best friends. Until one day, when she just disappears…
