When Bruno Got Lost

One day long ago, a busy mother boards a train that is about to leave the platform. Her luggage is heavy and she is surrounded by a large group of children. Did everyone make it onboard? She counts her children as the train starts to roll.

There should be nine of them, but where is… Bruno? He who has just learned to walk, but who cannot yet talk. Was he left on the platform? The train continues to increase its speed and disappears into the blue spruce forest. From the platform, Bruno can soon only see the white steam from the train that has left.

A magically shimmering tale about being lost and finding one’s way home again.

Ida Björs is an artist and illustrator educated at Konstfack, Sweden’s largest university of arts, crafts and design, located in Stockholm. Since her debut in 1999, she has both created her own picture books and illustrated the texts of others, in both book and magazine formats.
