It’s fall semester, and strange things start to happen to a queer group of friends in Uppsala. One by one the teens receive anonymous letters that only contain a picture of a place in town. When they visit the places in the painted pictures things happen that shift their entire existence. Each one meets an unexpected change – sometimes between them, other times within them. But who has sent the letters, and why?
Anna Ahlund’s empathetic text is accompanied by abounding art by Johan Ungenge.

Anna Ahlund is a writer living in Uppsala. She is a high school teacher within language and music, but has also worked with promoting reading at school and public libraries. She has written a number of praised young adult books, many of which contain queer themes.

Johan Unenge is an illustrator and author, with an extensive number of of critically acclaimed books behind him.
