Tchiko, a sheep dog, has no sheep to look after. When his new owners ask him to watch over their children, Jean-Jean and Olive, until the babysitter arrives, he takes his job very seriously. But he soon discovers that Jean-Jean and Olive are nothing like sheep!

Tchiko has to deal with the strange habits of these little people, who drag him along on a wild treasure hunt, in spite of himself. Where he is confronted with everything from giant sausages and caramel cream pancakes, to a handyman’s carnival and a garage owner’s paella.
