Pesco and Me
Sévérine Vidal & Julien Castanié
One day in the deep winter, a little boy decides to go. He leaves his parents, his home – everything – to get lost in the nature around. It is cold and rough, but the little boy has made a decision, he doesn’t want to move to the city like his parents want him to. He meets Pesco: a long, red, friendly and almost real snake. They become friends. First, Pesco follows the little boy. But then, it looks like the little boy is following Pesco. To go where?
Adding the pretty and colorful illustrations by Julien Castanié to the beauty of Severine Vidal’s words, Pesco and Me is a touching story about freedom, loneliness and feeling at home.
