Papa Pa and Paw
Fanna Ndow Norrby & Christian Epanya
Papa Pa is overjoyed to be back with his daughter Fatima and their friends in Gambia. They drink tea together under the starry sky, and he catches up on everything that has happened on the farm since his last visit. They tell him about a little stray dog who sometimes stops by, but exactly when she shows up is anyone’s guess!
The next day, the house is empty. Papa Pa has slept in, and Fatima has gone to the beach. Suddenly, a commotion comes from the chicken coop. He hurries over, throws open the gate- and grabs the shaggy creature trying to escape. It’s the dog!
Fanna Ndow Norrby’s Papa Pa and Paw is a warm and humorous story about two quirky and adventurous friends on a farm in Gambia. It features rich, bustling illustrations full of color and delightful details to explore.
This is the first standalone book in a new series and marks Fanna Ndow Norrby’s debut as a children’s book author. Christian Epanya from Cameroon is an internationally acclaimed illustrator and author based in Paris.
