Mouse Mick and Mouse Mike

City mouse Mike is visiting country mouse Mick and they are enjoying a simple meal in Mick’s kitchen. Mike appreciates the tranquility of the countryside, sure, but the city is something else entirely! Mike invites his country buddy to visit him. For Mick, however, life in the city turns out to be a bit too adventurous. There are indeed many attractions, including a swimming pool, but the price to pay is very high. From one danger to another, from fear to terror: mousetraps, the broom of the cook, the cat’s claws, and big human feet. The heart of the country mouse is upside down and his stomach still empty. At the end, the cookies they get hold of are very good, but eaten with a heartache. This is not his kind of life: better to jump on his bike and return to the peace of his own home.
