It Happens

It happens on a narrow track
that flies away and won’t come back
it’s such a pleasant autumn night
the moon is shining blue and bright
a flock of geese are moving south
the driver opens up his mouth
declaring loudly – Hip Hooray!
I’m turning ninety-six today!
So come aboard my birthday train
we’ll never have this fun again!
