Billie, Bean and mom take the bus to the mountains. Billie tries on ski boots and skiis – she’s going to ski school. Mom is just going to watch because she has too much at work and she’s exhausted. Billie thinks the slope is too steep, and mom doesn’t even notice Billie when she waves. Then Billie gets an idea… At fi rst, it’s fun and exciting to go off on her own, but when a lot of snow falls and Bean disappears, it’s frightening. How is Billie going to fi nd her way back to the ski slope again?
