In a quiet village called Village, a Writer is struggling with his tenth book and a total writer’s block. Despite attempts to find inspiration through gardening, cooking, and visits to contemporary art museums, inspiration just won’t come. The deadlock is broken by a breaking news special on the Village News: a UFO has been sighted on Mount Flat!
Convinced that a book about aliens would take the world by storm, Writer and his faithful Dog immediately set off on an adventure. At the summit, amid close encounters and unexpected twists, they discover a shocking truth: the aliens are actually a group of space puppies who have traveled all the way there to meet none other than Dog, a cult author and writer of interplanetarian fame (as well as the author of their favorite novel!). Amid secret historical references (from the Mona Lisa to the Nazca Lines) and a fruitful new collaboration, creativity will finally bloom again.
