Teddy Bruno’s Spring

Gunilla Ingves

Teddy Bruno and his dog Maisy open the door and discover that spring has come. The sun is warm, the small birds chirp and whistle, and green grass, snowdrops and hepatica start to show below the dry leaves from last year. Teddy starts spring cleaning while Maisy sits in the sun. Then they pack a picnic basket and head off to have a look around. Nature is waking from its winter slumber and what’s been hiding underneath the snow is slowly peeking forth. There is so much to discover! Ladybugs and other tiny animals come out to say hello to Teddy and Maisy.

Teddy Bruno’s Spring is a warm and playful picture book for pre-school children. It is about nature and living things – and everything else that comes with spring.

”The book is educational in the best sense of the word – the language both informative and poetic/…/ Narrative non-fiction is a difficult genre and Ingves is nothing but a master of it!”  Eva Wahlström, Borås tidning
